Shippon 40 Metres To North Of Weston Farmhouse

This building is a shippon located 40 metres north of Weston Farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble with dressed stone segmental arches and features a rag slate roof, which has a gable end on the right and a hipped end on the left. The shippon has an overall rectangular plan with shippons on the ground floor.

The exterior is two storeys high and has a regular four-window front. The ground floor includes a shuttered window on the far left, three shippon doors, and a wider opening with a timber lintel to the right. The first floor has three timber plank doors and a blocked opening to the left of centre, along with a row of pigeon holes. The interior has not been inspected. This shippon is part of an unaltered group in the farmyard.
