Description

This building is a shippon located immediately to the north-east of East Lake Farmhouse, dating from the 18th century. It features cob walls that incorporate stone rubble and has a hipped thatch roof. The shippon has a long rectangular plan, with animal accommodation on the left side and a threshing barn on the right. It is a single storey with a loft. The side facing the farmhouse has regularly spaced narrow doorways, along with three loading hatches on the first floor. On the rear wall, there is a wider cart entrance positioned to the left of the centre.
