Description
Burrow Farmhouse is a house that was formerly a farmhouse, dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century, with a late 20th-century addition. The building features rendered rubble and cob walls and has a gable-ended thatched roof with two brick gable end stacks. Originally, the layout included a larger heated room at each end and a small central service room. A 20th-century staircase has been added, and a single-storey wing has been constructed behind the right-hand room, likely replacing an earlier addition. The exterior is two storeys high and has an asymmetrical front with three windows, which are 20th-century two-light casements. There are also 20th-century double glazed doors to the right of the centre. Inside, the right-hand room contains an open fireplace with a rough wooden lintel.
