Description

This milestone, located approximately 350 metres east of Bantham Cross, dates from the 18th or 19th century. It is made of stone and has a triangular section with a rounded top. The milestone is partly concealed by an embankment and features an inscription that reads: "To King 2: To Mod by 5." The stone is painted white, and the lettering is slightly incised.
