Description
West Wembury House is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of slate rubble with granite quoins and features a slate-hung front. The building has a slate roof with gabled ends and stands two storeys high, with a four-window range. The windows are 19th-century sashes, some of which have glazing bars, and there is a tripartite sash on the ground floor. To the right of the centre, there is a plain doorway with a flush panel door and a 20th-century glazed porch. Brick chimney stacks are located at the gable ends. At the rear, there is a large wing from the 18th or 19th century, which has hipped roofs.
