Description
Heale Barton is a farmhouse dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from stone rubble with slate hanging on the front and ends, and features a gabled slate roof with brick stacks at the gable ends. The building has a rectangular plan with a two-span rear block also gabled at the back. It stands two storeys high and has a symmetrical front with three windows. The central entrance is a panelled front door with glazed top panels, and there is a 20th-century timber gabled porch. On the ground floor, there are two tripartite sash windows, with 16 panes in the central lights and four panes in the flanking lights. The first floor has three 16-pane sash windows, one of which is a 20th-century replacement. The interior has not been inspected.
