Description

Newport Manor is a farmhouse, now a house, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared rubble with a brick front and south gable, featuring brick dressings and roofs made of slate and pantiles, topped with two gable stacks. The building has a first-floor band and is three storeys high with three bays, arranged in an L-plan. The central entrance has a renewed wooden doorcase that holds a 19th-century six-panel door with an overlight, flanked by two 19th-century square wooden bay windows that contain triple sashes. Above the entrance, there are three plain sash windows, and on the top floor, there are three smaller plain sashes. The interior has not been inspected.
