Description

Netherbridge Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in 1869 for the Bedford Estate. It is constructed of stone rubble with brick dressings, and the front is colourwashed. The roof is hipped slate, with a two-span design at the rear and two stacks. The layout is double depth, featuring principal rooms on either side of an entrance hall, with service rooms at the back. The building has two storeys and a symmetrical three-bay front. A central gabled coped porch features two recessed round-headed brick arches above the outer doorway. The ground floor has 16-pane sash windows, while the first floor has 3-over-6-pane sashes. The interior has not been inspected. The farmhouse is linked to a contemporary planned farmyard from the Bedford Estate, which remains largely unaltered.
