Farmhouse. 1869 (datestone) for the Bedford Estate. Stone rubble with brick dressings, the front colourwashed, hipped slate roof, 2-span to the rear, 2 stacks. Double depth plan with principal rooms on either side of an entrance hall and service rooms to the rear. 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-bay front with a central gabled coped porch with 2 recessed round-headed brick arches above the outer doorway. 16-pane sash windows to the ground floor, first floor windows 3- over 6-pane sashes. Interior not inspected. The farmhouse is associated with a contemporary Bedford Estate planned farmyard which is very unaltered.
