Description
The stables and cartshed forming the south side of the yard at Ham Mill Farm date from the mid-19th century. They are constructed of stone rubble and feature a slate roof with gable ends. The building has an overall rectangular plan, with a line of probable stables and an open-fronted cartshed on the left-hand end.
The exterior includes a single-storey range, with the cartshed on the left and the probable stables on the right, which are accessed through dressed stone segmental arches. There are plank doors near the centre and to the right, along with five 19th-century windows that have timber slatting and glazed top lights. Additionally, there are four ventilation louvers along the ridge. The interior has not been inspected.
