Description
The building consists of shippons, cartsheds, and stables forming the north side of the yard at Ham Mill Farm, dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a corrugated asbestos roof, which has a hipped end on the left and gable ends on the slightly taller range on the right. The overall plan is rectangular, with the shippons located on the left and the cartshed, likely with stables, on the right.
The structure is single-storey, with the shippons on the left and a slightly taller roof for the cartshed and stables on the right. The shippons have four shippon doors, with two ventilation slit openings located between the first and second doors and between the third and fourth doors. The cartshed has plank double doors, with a door flanked by two 19th-century windows featuring timber slats to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
