Description
This building complex includes a shippon, threshing floor, horse engine house, stables, and cartshed, dating from around the mid-19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble with granite quoins and features a slate roof, which has a hipped end on the left and a gable end on the right. The horse engine house at the rear has a canted roof, while the single-storey shippon, stable, and cartshed have a lower slate roof.
The layout consists of a barn with a shippon on the ground floor, a horse engine house at the rear, and a threshing floor on the first floor. The front wing on the right is a single storey containing four shippon doors, two taller plank doors, and a plank door flanked by two windows. There is also a further wing at an acute angle, which likely contains the stables and cartshed, featuring plank doors.
The interiors have not been inspected. This building forms part of a group with Tredarrup Farmhouse.
