Description
Pinslow Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in 1863 for the Bedford Estate. It is constructed of stone rubble, rendered and blocked out on the front elevation, and features a hipped slate roof with brick stacks. The building has a double depth plan with the main rooms located on either side of a central stair hall, and it includes a long rear service wing. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has a symmetrical three-bay front with a central porch that has a shallow hipped slate roof. The windows are 12-pane sash windows. The porch was originally flat-roofed and underwent modifications in the late 20th century. The interior has not been inspected. This farmhouse is a well-preserved example of a Bedford Estate Farmhouse, associated with a contemporary planned farmyard.
