Description
Widley's Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century, with some alterations from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with stone dressings, featuring some brick strainer arches and a stone slate roof that has three 20th-century stone stacks. The building is two stories tall with an attic and has a three-bay south front. The outer windows on both floors are 2-light 19th-century sashes, while the central windows are 16-pane sashes. The lower windows have flush brick strainer arches, and the upper windows have stone arches. There is one hipped dormer on the right side, with the roof gabled to the left and hipped to the right. The east front has tripartite and 2-light sash windows, along with a gabled stone slate porch supported by brick piers. The entrance features an early 19th-century six-panel door that is partly glazed.
