Description

This is a row house located on High Street, Sherston, dating to the early 18th century, with a later 19th-century refronting. It is constructed of squared and coursed rubble with flush rusticated dressed stone quoins, stone dressings, and a gabled stone slate roof with end stone stacks. The west front has two storeys and four windows. The windows are 2-light with flat section ovolo-moulded mullions and 2-pane casements. A gabled, late 19th-century stone porch is set off to the right, containing a 6-panel door with the top two panels glazed. A continuous string course runs above the ground-floor windows, and there is an ovolo-moulded cornice.
