Description
Nos 27 and 29 High Street are two terraced houses from the 18th century, which were refronted in the late 19th century. The east front features incised render, while the rear is constructed of rubble with rusticated quoins and a gabled stone slate roof. The houses are two storeys high with an attic and have two windows each. The windows are 4-pane 19th-century sashes set in deep reveals, with projecting rendered keystones. No 29 has a 20th-century semicircular small pane glazed bay window on the ground floor to the left, and both houses feature three hipped dormers with 2-light casements. No 27 has a six-panel door with a rectangular fanlight offset to the left, while No 29 has a similar door offset to the top right. Additionally, No 27 has two-leaf garage gates to the left.
