Description
No. 68 on Boutport Street is a house that has been converted into offices. It dates from the early to mid 19th century, although the ground floor was rebuilt in the 1920s or 1930s. The upper storeys have a solid rendered front, while the ground floor features limestone ashlar, likely Bath stone, set on a granite plinth. The building has a slated roof and stands three storeys tall with a two-window range. The ground floor includes panelled pilasters and an entablature. The second-storey windows are adorned with eared architraves, friezes, and cornices, and feature six-paned sashes. The third-storey windows have moulded architraves and sashes with a three over six pane configuration. The eaves cornice is dentilled, although the upper part has likely been rebuilt. The interior has not been inspected.
