Description
No. 24 on Barton Street is a narrow frontage house that has been converted into offices. It dates from the late 18th century, with some reconstruction from the 20th century. The building is constructed of painted ashlar and has a slate roof.
The exterior features three floors and an attic with a mansard roof, and it has a single window width. There is a large 20th-century dormer above paired twelve-pane sash windows at two levels, with the glazing bars reinstated since the previous listing. The front of the building has a full-width display area with a recessed door on two steps to the left, flanked by pilasters and topped with a platband. The building is capped with a plain coped parapet. The interior has not been inspected.
