Description
No. 50 on Christchurch Road is a house that has been converted into an office. It dates from the mid-18th century and was remodeled in the 20th century. The building is constructed of brick with a rendered finish and has an old plain tile roof. It is two stories high and has four bays.
The front features a six-panel door located to the right of center, set within a doorcase that includes pilasters and brackets supporting a gabled hood, with a blind opening above it. The windows are 16-pane sashes, with the ones on the first floor being shorter than those on the ground floor. The eaves overhang and include a splashboard. There is a large chimney stack positioned in front of the ridge to the right of center, and the right gable has a raised wallplate and a stack on the rear face.
