5/47 Barn, approx 30 metres north-east - of Whitefield Barton

GV II

Barn. Late C17 or early C18 of roughly coursed and dressed stone blocks with cob in upper part to loft, rebuilt with breeze blocks to right. Pantiled roof with gable ends and gable ventilator slot. Central double wooden door. Horse-engine house to rear with stone infill in the panels. Principals survive but trenched purlins and rafters have been replaced. Included for group value.
