Description

This small chapel dates to 1841. It is constructed of colourwashed stone rubble, with an asbestos slate roof having gabled ends. The single-story building features two Gothic pointed arch windows with Y-pattern glazing bars, and a central pointed arch doorway with a studded Gothic door. A 20th-century gabled brick porch shelters the doorway; a slate tablet above the porch reads, "James Row of this Parish let this place for a Chapel for ten shillings per annum 1841 for a term of 2000 years.” Later interior furnishings have been added.
