Description

Hordens House is a house that was formerly a farmhouse, dating from the late 17th century and significantly altered in the 20th century. It is constructed of rubble stone and has a corrugated roof. There is a stone stack at the right gable end and a plastered stone axial stack. The layout follows a three-cell cross-passage plan. The front features a range of three windows: two-light casements above an inserted door at the upper end, a three-light casement to the left of the door, a 20th-century porch, and a timber sash window with glazing bars, consisting of eight lights per sash at the lower end. The interior has not been inspected.
