Description

The Old Rectory is a house that was formerly a rectory, built in the 19th century. It features rendered stone construction and has an overhanging hipped slate roof with two axial stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a double depth plan. It includes five bays of original timber sash windows, each with six panes per sash and contemporary glass. There are two sashes on each side of a later 19th-century porch, which has the original door and fanlight positioned at the front. A notable feature is the unusual contemporary cornice tiles in the front room on the right, which display original pointed decoration.
