Description

STANDISH STANDISH VILLAGE SO 80 NW 7/269 Barn at Standish Court Farm, about 40m to north west of farmhouse II Barn. Core possibly late C17, altered late C18. Random coursed dressed stone on plinth, concrete tile roof. Central opposed hipped cart entries to north and south sides, added in late C18 probably in 1796 (date on beam across main wall plane), both with double timber doors, recessed on south side. Small single storey C20 concrete lean-to to right on north side, stone lean-to to right on south side. Long slit vents to left of each entry, and to gable ends. Interior much altered with first floor at east end and internal concrete partitions at west end; roof structure not visible.
