Description

This is a range of farm buildings, currently used as shippons and store sheds, attached to and extending southeast from Middle Knightacott Farmhouse. The buildings date mainly from the early 19th century, although the right end of the range has some fabric from the 17th century. They are constructed of stone rubble, with a slate roof on the right end and corrugated iron on the rest of the range.

The range consists of four main buildings. The left end forms a lean-to against Middle Knightacott Farmhouse, featuring a loft door above a plank door, with a small square opening to the right. The two buildings to the right are aligned; the left one has a loft door above a plank door with a square opening to the left, while the right one has external stone steps leading to a plank door, with two pigeon holes on each side and two square openings on the ground floor. There is also a plank door at the right gable end.

The building at the right end is set back and connected to the main range by a small lean-to with a corrugated iron roof and a doorway on the right side. This building features a three-light chamfered mullion window at its left gable end, with a triangulated owl hole above it. There are loft openings above two doorways at the front and two additional doorways at the right gable end.
