Description
BRATTON FLEMING KNIGHTACOTT SS 63 NW 4/68 Range of Farmbuildings, used as shippons and store-sheds. Attached to and extending south- east from Middle Knightacott Farmhouse

Range of farmbuildings, now used as shippons and store-sheds. Principally early C19 but the building at right end has some C17 fabric. Stone rubble, slate roof to building at right end, corrugated iron to rest of range. Range of 4 principal buildings that at left end forms lean-to to Middle Knightacott Farmhouse, with loft door above plank door with small square opening to right end. 2 buildings to right in line, that to left has loft door above plank door with square opening to left, that to right has external stone steps to plank door with 2 pigeon holes to each side and 2 square ground floor openings. Plank door at right gable end. The building at right end is set back and joined to main range by small lean-to with corrugated iron roof and doorway in right side. It has a 3-light chamfered mullion window at its left gable end with triangulated owl hole above. Loft openings above 2 doorways to front and 2 further doorways at right gable end.
