LOXHORE SS 63 NW 4/132 Smythapark House GV II

House. 1857. Snecked stone hipped slate roofs with stacks to each end and shaped brackets to eaves soffit. Symmetrical plan with range with single rooms flanking central hall to front and 2 adjacent right-angled projections to rear. 2-storeys, 3-window range of C19 sashes 6 over 6-panes. Ground floor has canted bay windows probably late C19 additions with unmoulded plat band above flanking central doorway with plain pilasters and entablature with keystone dated 1857. 4-panelled inner door with overlight. Large round arched hall window to left end with diamond glazing pattern
