Description

The Old Rectory is a former rectory dating from around 1840. It is constructed of roughcast rendered rubble with a slate roof and gable-end stacks. The building has a symmetrical front range with a right-angled projection to the rear, forming a T-shaped layout. The front facade has a five-window arrangement of hornless sash windows with six over six panes. A gabled dormer with crested ridge tiles and a four-paned window has been added above the central window. There are two similar sash windows at ground floor level, flanking a central porch with a gabled slate roof and a slightly cambered arch. The inner door is of half-glazed planks.
