Description

This limekiln, dating from the 19th century, is located on Instow Beach, approximately 75 metres south-west of the Instow Sailing Club House. It is constructed of stone rubble with some brick and has a nearly square shape, positioned diagonally into the bank. The structure features access tunnels leading to firing holes on two rear sides and a segmental brick arch on the front right side niche. In the centre, there is a stone-lined well.
