Description

This is an accommodation bridge over the Grand Western Canal, which was established under an Act of 1796, with the Halberton section completed in 1814. The bridge is constructed of brick with stone coping and features an elliptical arch. It has a brick string course and parapet made of conglomerate round-headed coping stones, with a course of blue bricks beneath. The brick piers are built in English bond.
