HALBERTON SS 91 SE 1/143 Bridge at SS994121 - II -

Accommodation bridge over the Grand Western Canal; the canal was established under an Act of 1796 and the Halberton section completed in 1814. Brick with stone coping. Elliptical arch, brick string course; conglomerate round-headed coping stones to parapet with a course of blue bricks beneath. Brick piers. All in English bond.
