Description
Manley Railway Bridge is a bridge that carries a minor road across the dismantled Tiverton branch of the Bristol and Exeter Railway, which was opened in 1848. It was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. The bridge features a single segmental span arch made of culling. It is constructed of brick, with a limestone moulded string course and coping along the parapet. The spandrels are in English bond, while the parapet is in Flemish bond. The plinth has an overall herringbone brick coursing.
