Description

The bridge carrying the A373 over the Grand Western Canal was built in the early 19th century, following the establishment of the canal under an Act of 1796, with the Halberton section completed by 1814. It is constructed of conglomerate ashlar and features an elliptical arch, a string course, and round-headed coping stones on the parapet.
