Description

Rock Bridge is a bridge that carries the A373 over the Grand Western Canal. The canal was established under an Act of 1796, with the Halberton section completed in 1814. The bridge is constructed of conglomerate ashlar and features a single elliptical arch, a string course, and a parapet with round-headed coping stones. It is part of a group that includes Rock House, which is situated above the canal at this location.
