Description

Crownhills Bridge is a bridge that carries a minor road over the Grand Western Canal. The canal was established under an Act of 1796, with the section in Halberton completed in 1814. The bridge is constructed of coursed conglomerate and features a single elliptical arch with a string course. The parapet has round-headed coping, and the roadway still retains its kerb-blocks.
