Description

The railings and wall enclosing the parish churchyard to the south and east of Halberton were constructed in 1856. They feature a chamfered stone plinth and stone piers placed at intervals, each topped with triangular-headed caps. Between the piers, there are stretches of wrought iron railing, which consist of uprights and three horizontal rails, with decorative bosses at the intersections. Each section is supported by a pair of shaped struts.
