Description

Manley Bridge is a road bridge over the canal, likely built between 1810 and 1814, around the same time as the Great Western Canal. It is constructed from volcanic agglomerate ashlar and features a parapet string with hogs-back coping. The bridge has a single span with an elliptical arch and includes two opposing segmental arches on plan, with the walls slightly battered.
