Description

Tidcombe Bridge is a road bridge that spans a canal, likely built between 1810 and 1814 during the construction of the Great Western Canal. It is made from volcanic agglomerate ashlar and features a parapet string along with a hogs-back parapet. The bridge has a single span with an elliptical arch and is designed with two opposing segmental arches on plan, and the walls are slightly battered.
