SILVERTON FORE STREET (east side), SS 90 SE Silverton 7/242 No. 44 (Willow Cottage) - GV II House. Late C18. Plastered cob with stone footings. Hipped thatched roof. Large 2-room plan with through-passage and rear outshut. 2-storeys. Front: 5-window range; 3-light casement windows to first floor and two 3-light and one 4-light windows to ground floor. All windows look contemporary with house, 3- panes per light. 2 doorways. Interior: simple stairs at rear left hand corner with square newels and moulded rail. Some fielded panel doors on first floor. Complete C18 pegged roof.
