Hipped thatched roof. The house appears to conform to a 3-room through-passage plan and might be an C18 remodelling of an older building. 2-storeys with attic dormers. Right hand end stack, and internal rear lateral stack; brick shaft. Front: 8-window range. First floor windows, all the same, C 19 2-light, 10 leaded panes per light; ground floor with main porch, to the right of centre reeded pilasters and moulded cornice; a late C19 entrance to the left, moulded canopy (on shaped brackets) continued to form lintel of adjacent windows; 5 other windows (early C19), 2-lights with margin panes. Left hand end with one 2-light window to each floor. Rear wing with 3-light ovolo-moulded window. Interior: mainly C19, including well stair and some other joinery; the roof trusses sit well down in wall; apex carpentry not visible. It is possible that the roof is as early as the late C17.
