GV II

House. Circa late C18. Painted rubble and cob walls, wheat reed thatched roof with brick chimneys over the gable ends. Plan : 2 room plan with kitchen living room, left, and parlour, right; former cross passage partitions between removed in the C20. Single storey C20 extension left and C20 back porch, right. 2 storeys. Nearly symmetrical 2 window south front with doorway central to fenestration and all grouped towards the right. Large glazed C20 porch, C20 glazed door, C20 windows in deepened ground floor openings and older C20 2-light casements to unaltered first floor openings. Interior has exposed beams to ground floor and said to have original roof structure This is the only house still thatched in this parish.
