Description

This is a granite milestone from the 19th century, located on the north-east side of the B3302. The milestone stands 1.19 meters high and is painted white. It features a pyramidal head and a rectangular base, with a triangular shaft rising from large pyramidal stops. Two sides of the shaft have inscriptions in Sans Serif lettering with Arabic numerals. The east face reads "HAYLE / 7 / MILES," while the west face reads "HELSTON / 3 / MILES." The lettering is highlighted in black paint.
