Description

Little Thatch is a house dating from the 18th century, located on Higher Ringmore Road in Shaldon. The building is constructed of cob and features a thatched roof with two eyebrow dormers and rendered stacks at the gable ends, one of which is external. It has a three-unit plan and is single-storey with an attic, presenting a three-window range. The right-hand range has 19th-century two-light casement windows, while the left side of the attic features paired three-light casements and two 20th-century windows below. A 20th-century door and thatched porch are positioned to the right of the center. There are no windows on the returns. The interior has not been inspected but is reported to have exposed beams.
