Description
Gaffers is a detached cottage, formerly known as "Haycroft Cottage," dating from 1785. It is built of stone rubble and has a concrete tile roof with gabled ends. The cottage is two storeys high and features a three-window range with 20th-century two-light casements that include glazing bars. There is a central doorway with a plank door and a rendered chimney stack at one gable end. At the opposite (east) end, there is a 20th-century one-storey flat roof extension. Inside, the cottage has chamfered ceiling beams and a fireplace bressummer. It is included for its group value.
