Description

Cleave Hill is a 17th century stone rubble cottage located on Membury Hill Common. It features a corrugated asbestos roof with gabled ends and stands two storeys high. The cottage has a three-window range, with the right-hand windows on both the ground and first floors having dripmoulds. The left-hand side has modern iron frame casements. To the left of the center, there is a plank door leading to a modern glazed porch. The cottage has chimney stacks at both gable ends, with the south end stack rebuilt in brick. Additionally, there is a modern conservatory at the rear.
