Description

Long Orchard is a house dating from around the 17th or 18th century, or possibly earlier. It is constructed of stone rubble and has its back face to the road. The roof is covered in asbestos slate and features gabled ends. The house is two storeys high with an attic. It has a six-window front. Most of the windows are modern casements with glazing bars. A glazed front door is present, along with a modern porch on the right-hand side. A brick chimney stack is situated at the centre of the ridge. The gable ends are punctuated by attic windows.
