Description

Rices is a house that likely dates from the 17th century and was extended in the 18th century. It features a long stone rubble construction with a corrugated iron roof and gabled ends. The building has two storeys and includes a five-window range. The windows are small 19th-century casements with glazing bars. There are two doorways; one has a later stone porch while the other has a modern glazed porch. Brick ridge chimney stacks are present. Inside, you can find chamfered ceiling beams and a chamfered fireplace bressummer at the south-west end.
