Description

Friday Cottage is a detached cottage, which was formerly two cottages, dating from the early 19th century. It features rubble-stone walls and a thatch roof with gable ends. There are brick stacks located at the left-hand gable and along the ridge at the center. The cottage is two storeys high and has four windows, which are three-light cast-iron casements with three-centred arches set in square heads. The windows have wooden frames and brick arches above them. On the first floor, there are two-light casements of the same design. At the front, there is a central porch made of rubble-stone with a gabled slate roof, and a 19th-century plank door is located on the left-hand wall of the porch.
