Description
Langbride House is a rectory that has been converted into a private residence, dating from the early 19th century. The building features stone walls with pebble-dash render and has rusticated stone quoins at the north-east and south-east corners. It has a hipped slate roof with brick stacks positioned at the apex of the west hip and below the right-hand ridge. The house is two storeys tall and has seven windows, which are sashes with thin glazing bars and stone cills. There are tripartite windows on both the left and right sides of the ground floor. The front door, located to the left of centre, is a two-leaf door with bottom panels and two top lights featuring marginal glazing bars, all framed by a lattice-work of tall side windows and a continuous top light, dating from the 19th century. The building also includes a concrete portico from the 20th century. Additionally, there are 19th-century French windows on both the east and south walls, and the south wall features a two-storey segmental bay.
