Description

Hembercombe Farmhouse is a house that was formerly two cottages. It features plastered walls and a thatched roof, with two wood casements. The building is likely from the 18th century, although it may be older. It retains its thatch and is part of a group of thatched houses and cottages located on the lane to Broadhembury Common, just outside the village. Access to the land was not obtainable at the time of the survey conducted in 1987/88.
