Description

The milestone at Four Mile Clump is a Grade II listed structure located on the old Swindon to Marlborough turnpike, dating from around 1762. It is made of sarsen stone and features a shaft with a triangular section and a grooved top. The base of the milestone is buried, and the legends that are incised into the stone are not legible.
