Description

This is a house located against the droveway, east of King Hall, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a tiled roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, with five window bays. The central entrance consists of a four-panelled door topped by a fanlight and sheltered by a boxed canopy. The windows are timber cross casements with segmental brick heads, although the centre window on the first floor is blank. The eaves are detailed with a header band and brick dentils. There is a dormer on the rear slope of the roof and gable stacks. At the rear, there is a stair tower and various extensions from the later 19th century that connect to a single-storey outbuilding, which has exposed timber ties and collars.
