Description
The Gatreel monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, about 1 metre south of the transept of the Church of St. Margaret of Antioch. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a plinth and plain panels, topped with a heavy chamfered flat top that bears an inscription: "David Gatreel, died 1794." At the time of the survey in March 1985, the monument was considerably sunk.
